Jay Chafetz has 26 years of legal experience.  He
specialized in all types of personal injury claims (wrongful
death, motor vehicle, falls, construction site accidents, dog
bites), products liability, elder abuse, medical malpractice,
insurance disputes, and disputes over estates.   Jay earned
his Juris Doctor degree from Hastings College of Law in
San Francisco, California where he graduated in the top
10% of his class. He earned his B.A. from the University of
California at San Diego, where he graduated Summa Cum
Laude.  

Jay was admitted to the practice of Law in 1980.  He has
authored a number of articles on a variety of legal topics
ranging from Constitutional Privacy to Expert Witnesses.  He
is currently on the Board of Directors of the Contra Costa
County Bar Association.  He has been an Adjunct Professor
of Law at John F. Kennedy University and served on the
Board of Directors for the Walnut Creek Chamber of
Commerce.
